End User Training

In order to deliver high productivity, the people who create, develop, test and market the software must not think of their own needs, but of the End-User’s needs. With HGS’s training delivery, the End- User is our focus. The End-User will be the person(s) who will be receiving the information and End-user training is one of the keys to the successful implementation of any software. The End-User is the audience on the other end that will be testing, touching, and using any application or system being implemented.

There are three important things HGS focuses on when it comes to End Users and transitioning into new ERP systems or Upgrades.

1) Setting training goals and planning for training up front.

Though training may be at the end of the implementation journey, your first objective in providing software training for End-Users is minimizing any productivity loss associated with the software transition. This means you have to get them up to the skill level required to do their jobs as quickly and accurately as they were doing with the legacy or previous system.

2) Assessing your End-User needs.

An important part in creating your training plan is to evaluate the needs that will have to be address with the transition. HGS can analyze and assess these needs.

3) Training delivery methods.

This is the area where UPK comes in and plays a major role to any company’s implementation. HGS uses UPK to create clean simulations that mimic the real live system. This allows End –Users experience with the system unlimited amount of times to ensure understanding. Best of all, UPK Increase knowledge retention and achieve faster time to competency with conceptual-based assessments. HGS will assist in creating content that will drive higher user effectiveness by disseminating critical process knowledge through multiple learning methods. Those methods to document key process information include the simulations as well as job aids, reference guides, Test Scripts, and PowerPoints.
